Finding Maruhon on a Map |
|
Maruhon is in Hamamatsu city, in Shizuoka Prefecture.
The closest Shinkansen station is Hamamatsu, not Shizuoka
city. (Shizuoka is both the name of the prefecture and the name of the capital city.
In a recent survey, Shizuoka was ranked as the most popular place to live in Japan.) The closest international airport is Nagoya, with Tokyo's
Narita and Osaka's Kansai airports located about the same distance from us. From
Nagoya to Hamamatsu is about 50 minutes on the shinkansen, and Osaka and Tokyo are 1.5-2
hours depending on if you catch a hikari shinkansen or a kodama shinkansen. (Both
types of shinkansen travel at the same speed on the rails, but a hikari shinkansen
skips stations while a kodama shinkansen stops at every station.) The Osaka
and Narita airports are each about one hour by special airport express trains to the main
stations, while Nagoya's airport is about 30 minutes by bus to the main station. Are you driving? There are two exits on the Tomei Highway for Hamamatsu. Maruhon is 10-15 minutes from the Hamamatsu exit and 20 minutes from Hamamatsu-nishi. The new Tomei, "Tomei Two" will pass less than 5 minutes from Maruhon, with an exit almost at our doorstep, allowing even faster delivery of our products. Arriving in a container? Our primary port is Shimizu. |
